Sorry, this one doesn't get my support.

95% of the world pays double the price that Americans do for gas, food and other basics.

You may be pissed off about rising gas prices. The rest of the world just simply thinks that Americans are now finally having pay what they do.

Maybe protest the horrific treatment of the poor in America or how illiterate many school-aged children are, how middle America can't afford health care.

...and ride the bus more often.

I think that the price of gas stinks, though we are fortunate that it's not as high here as it is in other countries. The price of lots of things are going up, food, clothing, pretty much everything is going up in price. Yes, we are fortunate that we don't have to pay $10 a gallon like they do in some places, I think it's still okay to be upset about the cost.

Maybe if more people did ride the bus, or take alternate means of transportation, the prices would come down, but obcvisouly the people in this country are more into driving our own cars rather than take the bus, which would be a much better choice. And for a lot of people, that's not even an option.
